Categories of MAGIC
While there are many different kinds of magic, they basically fall into three categories.
Ceremonial (high) magic
Earth magic
Chaos magic
Let’s work our way through the list, starting from the bottom. The newest and probably most common. Because of its simplicity and the lack of training required.
CHAOS MAGIC - is basically creating “rituals” by combining aspects of other types of magic, and applying them to your own means. The problem with most chaos mages is
“Seldom do the practitioners of chaos magic have a true understanding of the methods involved!” Most chaos magic is little more than placebo effect, as a result of focused will.
There is no formality or initiation process involved at all, and the result are inconsistent as a result.
EARTH MAGIC - (witchcraft, paganism, Druidism, etc.) is methods of working with earth spirits and the more tangible world. Many of these methods have been watered down over time, and while there used to be a formal initiation and training process… the accessibility of the “knowledge” has made it so that almost anyone can get a book from the library and start practicing. Earth Magic can be powerful, especially in forms such as Santeria and Vodou that borders on high magic. But the potential is still limited, because you are working almost totally with terrestrial forces, which by their nature are also limited.
CEREMONIAL (HIGH) MAGIC - stands at the pinnacle of magic, with many groups (such as the order of the golden dawn, and rosecrucianism) offering their “secret” knowledge to the initiate. There is almost always an initiation process (more often than not, involving a degradation ritual… to assert their power over you from the very beginning). The potential of ceremonial magic is far greater than any other method, but in following the more known groups, you are still limited, as many of these groups were little more than gentlemen’s clubs… “where middle aged men met who liked to play dress up”.
In my teachings, I break down the true and ancient process of ceremonial magic, to its core essence… and teach the initiate to properly use it, to call on and connect with subtle forces of the universe, and even of the self. These teachings can be applied to any pantheon or higher beings one seeks to connect with. But my main teachings relate to the dragons, the Sumerian culture, or (my personal patron) ABADDON… the angel of the abyss, who stands in judgment of humanity.
I will be starting a forum for dragon magic in the coming week, that will walk one through the practices and principles of ceremonial rituals, working directly with the dragons! The rituals will even be in the (channeled) dragon language, with full translation into English, so the conscious and subconscious mind can fully integrate the process.
This is the only system of high magic that I am aware of that works with the dragons. Dragons are not earth creatures, as is evident by the fact that few have actually seen a dragon! Most all practices that claim to work with the dragons are basically witchcraft (earth magic) rituals with the dragons names inserted.
