Social media for the antisocial…
That is sort of what I see this platform as.
most social media is about building a large fan base of followers, but Substack is different…
I mean, sure, we all write to be seen. But it’s not about mass saturation, it’s just about having a voice, and the courage to share it.
I ended up here in its early days, by accident. When I was looking for an alternative to “Facebook”(fake-book) after not being able to access my account on there anymore.
I decided it was time for a change, sure I had ok traction on there. Over 8,000 followers. Which is not bad, for someone who is very unconventional. But the fact is, no matter how much I was seen, it was like i was screaming into the void! If I got any feedback, or was even seen, it was more often than not haters. (Not that I minded… even haters increase traction). But haters don’t make customers, and my teaching is my income! Along with the collateral support.
On here, sure… I have a much smaller following. But the people are more authentic! More genuine, and more supportive!
I have even gotten some very good interviews and cross promotion on this, which I never did on facebook!
(That being said… if you want to discuss cross promotion, and have a common interest… [that being the spiritual world and occult] please reach out to me, and let’s talk!)
Even if you don’t have a platform, I am open to discussing anything! I love to have like a random game of 20 questions! Where people ask me questions about anything!
I stay here, not because of how many people I reach, but because of the quality of the few I do! I use this platform more like a personal journal, sharing ideas with those who care to take a moment to explore them with me.
I feel people are more authentic on here, and that’s hard to find in today’s world built on lies!
