CHOKMAH: wisdom
Often called “illuminating intelligence” and is considered to be a conduit for the passage of force, guiding and directing it from its unstable form in KEITHER.
All three of the top spheres in the supernal triangle are said to be of the unmanifest, or the void. To the uninitiated, this may seem out of place. As many dogmatic and oven occult beliefs confuse the void with a realm of suffering and torment. But the truth is… the void is free from all! No time, no emotion, it is even before the concept of suffering, because it is before duality.
CHOKMAH is dynamic in nature, simply guiding and directing the raw energy to BINAH, where it is given form and structure. These two (BINAH AND CHOKMAH) together form the polarizing (male and female) aspects of manifestation.
As the energy here is without form, cosmic energy here can take on or morph into any form, when directed here from KETHER.
Archetypically speaking, it is said that the soul of a woman is spiritually and psychically positive, whereas the man’s soul is said to be physically and mentally positive. Please note; this refers to the soul, which is not always the same as the anatomical gender. As a man or woman works their way up the tree, into higher consciousness, they will work towards embracing both the male and female aspects. This is the true meaning of the term “hermaphrodite” (it was not referring to gender identity issues as today’s society believes, but was referring to the masculine intellect of HERMES with the feminine intuition of APHRODITE).
Those who have a strong energy in CHOKMAH tend to have high charisma and are natural leaders.

CHOKMAH stands at the head of the pillar of severity. It is a dynamic force, and the energy here is a mutable, unfixed form… being directed on to BINAH. It is referred to as “illuminating intelligence” and is the male energy resonating out of the void, to be sent to the female to “give birth” to it and form it.
